About
Edward Dragomir began swimming competitively at the age of seven and has developed a deep passion for the sport. He is currently in his final year at Vincent Massey Secondary School and continues to dedicate himself to both training and academic success. Edward is now taking the next step by transitioning into coaching and instruction, aiming to share his experience and enthusiasm with younger swimmers.
Achievements
Edward has earned first place in both the 100m backstroke and 100m breaststroke at the WECCSSA and SWOSSAA championships for two consecutive years in the high school division. On the provincial stage, he has achieved top-ten finishes at OFSAA in both events for the past two years, demonstrating his consistency and competitive excellence.
Kids About Me
Coach Edward is really nice and always makes us feel comfortable in the water. He explains things in a way that’s easy to understand and helps us get better without making us feel bad. He’s calm and super friendly. We like how he makes practice fun but still helps us work hard.
My Skills
I hold both my National Lifeguard Service (NLS) and Instructor certifications, which allow me to provide a safe and professional environment for all swimmers. I’m also excited to begin training for the Swimmer 101 coaching course, which will further enhance my ability to support competitive swimmers and help them develop strong techniques and discipline.
